Easiest Places for Visas
Compare places ranked by Nomadr’s stored visa and legal score.
Ordered by our stored visa and legal score. The list draws from 333 of our 333 cities — cities we hold no score for are left out rather than ranked last. Showing 50 ranked cities; exact score-and-percentile ties share a rank and are never split alphabetically.
How we score this
Places are ranked by Nomadr’s visa and legal score. In October 2026 an AI model (Claude Sonnet) read each place’s full stored visa and legal research and rated it from 1 to 10 for how easy and good the legal route is for a remote-working digital nomad, weighing visa-free stay length, digital nomad visa quality, tax friendliness and ease of renewal. Each place was rated twice, independently, and the two ratings were averaged. Each score is then compared with every other place we cover to give the percentile shown under it.
- 1Batumi · GeorgiaGood to know: Always check your specific passport against the current list on geoconsul.gov.ge before booking — the visa-free country list is set by government decree and does change periodically, and different sources cite slightly different country counts (roughly 90-98) depending on when they were last updated.Among the 1% easiest cities for visas10/10
- =2tiedAbu Dhabi · United Arab EmiratesGood to know: Rules are entirely nationality-based, not blanket — always check your specific passport against the official checker rather than assuming 'UAE is visa-free' applies to you.Among the 5% easiest cities for visas9/10
- =2tiedBakuriani · GeorgiaGood to know: As of January 1, 2026, every visitor — including those entering visa-free — must carry travel medical insurance covering at least 30,000 GEL (roughly $11,360) for the full length of stay; buy a compliant policy before you fly rather than at the border.Among the 5% easiest cities for visas9/10

- =2tiedKutaisi · GeorgiaGood to know: Most Western passport holders (EU, UK, US, Canada, Australia, NZ, etc.) can simply fly in and get stamped in for up to 365 days with zero paperwork — one of the easiest and longest visa-free allowances anywhere, which is a big part of why Georgia (and Kutaisi as an entry point) is popular with nomads.Among the 5% easiest cities for visas9/10
- =2tiedTbilisi · GeorgiaGood to know: The 365-day visa-free allowance applies per entry, not as a lifetime or single-calendar-year cap — many long-term nomads do a quick border run (e.g., to Armenia) once a year to reset the clock, though this is not a guaranteed right and officers can push back if they suspect long-term residence abuse.Among the 5% easiest cities for visas9/10
- =2tiedTirana · AlbaniaGood to know: If you're eligible for visa-free entry, you generally won't get a passport stamp as an EU/EEA/Swiss traveler — track your own 90-day count carefully, since border officers won't do it for you.Among the 5% easiest cities for visas9/10
- =2tiedYerevan · ArmeniaGood to know: The 180-day allowance is per rolling one-year period, not a fixed calendar year, so it's worth tracking your own entry/exit dates rather than assuming a hard reset each January 1st.Among the 5% easiest cities for visas9/10
- 11Nassau · BahamasGood to know: Even though citizens of the US and Canada are technically eligible for stays up to 8 months, the stamp you actually receive on arrival is decided by the individual immigration officer — don't assume you'll get the maximum without asking or having a clear reason for a longer stay.Among the 5% easiest cities for visas8.5/10

- =12tiedMálaga · SpainGood to know: The 90/180-day count is Schengen-wide, not just for Spain — time spent in France, Italy, Portugal, etc. all draws from the same 90-day allowance, so combining a Málaga base with hops around Europe can burn through your days faster than expected.Easier visas than about 90% of cities8/10
