Best Places for Coworking Spaces

Compare places ranked by Nomadr’s stored score for coworking and work-friendly spaces, based on the destination research available for each place.

Ordered by our stored coworking and work-friendly spaces score. The list draws from 333 of our 333 cities — cities we hold no score for are left out rather than ranked last. Showing 50 ranked cities; exact score-and-percentile ties share a rank and are never split alphabetically.

How we score this

Places are ranked by Nomadr’s coworking score, which combines two things from our research for each place: how many distinct coworking and work-friendly venues it names, and their average listed price in US dollars (monthly prices where stored, otherwise day passes). Each is compared with every other place we cover, with more venues ranking higher and lower prices ranking higher, and the two percentiles are averaged into a score from 1 to 10. Places with no stored price, and a few places added later, are scored on their venue count alone.

  1. 1Córdoba · ArgentinaGood to know: Córdoba's coworking scene is concentrated mainly in Nueva Córdoba and Cerro de las Rosas, with a secondary cluster in the Centro — these are the most nomad-relevant areas.Among the 5% best cities for coworking9.6/10
  2. 2Barcelona · SpainGood to know: Barcelona has an unusually dense coworking scene — well over 100 spaces — so day-pass rates are competitive; expect roughly €16–35 for a walk-in day pass depending on how central/premium the space is.Better coworking than about 90% of cities9.2/10
  3. 3Istanbul · TurkeyGood to know: Traditional coworking is the dominant model in Istanbul — chains like Workinton, Kolektif House, and Impact Hub have many branches spread across both the European and Asian sides, so pick one close to where you're staying rather than commuting across the city.Better coworking than about 90% of cities9.1/10
  4. 4Sydney · AustraliaGood to know: Sydney's coworking scene is heavily CBD-centric, with dense clusters around George Street/Martin Place, Barangaroo, Pyrmont, Surry Hills and Haymarket — you're rarely more than a short walk from several options.Better coworking than about 90% of cities9/10
  5. 5Miami · United StatesGood to know: Most named traditional coworking spaces (Ampersand, Quest, The LAB, WeWork, Spaces, Regus) publish clear day-pass and monthly pricing on request, but several — including The LAB Miami — don't post exact numbers online and require a direct inquiry for current rates.Better coworking than about 85% of cities8.8/10
  6. 6Cape Town · South AfricaGood to know: Most Cape Town coworking day-pass and monthly prices are quoted excluding South Africa's 15% VAT — expect the final invoice to run a bit higher than the advertised rate.Better coworking than about 85% of cities8.8/10
  7. 7Florianópolis · BrazilGood to know: Floripa's coworking scene is spread across several clusters: Centro (business-district, formal), Trindade/Itacorubi (university and startup-adjacent), and the south/east of the island around Rio Tavares, Campeche and Lagoa da Conceição (beach-adjacent, more laid-back).Better coworking than about 85% of cities8.8/10
  8. 8Bangalore · IndiaGood to know: Coworking density and choice in Bangalore is very high — Koramangala, HSR Layout, Indiranagar, and Whitefield have the highest concentration of spaces, while MG Road/Residency Road (CBD) is the go-to for client-facing meetings near hotels and the metro.Better coworking than about 85% of cities8.7/10
  9. 9Tokyo · JapanGood to know: Most standalone coworking day passes in Tokyo fall in the roughly 1,000-3,300 JPY range, while premium hotel-adjacent or view-heavy locations can run higher.Better coworking than about 85% of cities8.6/10
  10. 10Taghazout · MoroccoGood to know: Almost none of Taghazout's hostel/surf-camp coworking spaces publish a simple day-rate or monthly-rate online — most bundle coworking access into accommodation or surf packages, so you'll generally need to message the venue directly to get a current price.Better coworking than about 85% of cities8.5/10
  11. 11Kathmandu · NepalGood to know: Kathmandu's coworking scene is still small and uneven compared to Southeast Asian nomad hubs — budget spaces like Hub108 and Work Around are very cheap, while international chains like Regus and hotel-hybrid spaces like Rem.Work@Fairfield sit at a much higher, more corporate price point.Better coworking than about 85% of cities8.5/10
  12. 12Las Vegas · United StatesGood to know: Las Vegas doesn't have a dedicated, purpose-built 'hotel-coworking hybrid' brand (like Selina or Zoku) — the closest thing found is Oasis at Gold Spike, which is really a bar/lounge that doubles as daytime workspace, not a formal coworking membership product.Better coworking than about 85% of cities8.5/10
  13. 13Nairobi · KenyaGood to know: Most quoted coworking prices in Nairobi exclude Kenya's 16% VAT, so the actual amount charged is typically higher than the headline number — always ask if a quote is VAT-inclusive.Better coworking than about 85% of cities8.5/10
