About Nomadr
Nomadr is a free research tool for digital nomads, expats and avid travelers deciding where to go next. It covers 333 destinations across 44 research categories, from cost of living and visas to coworking, safety, climate, and lifestyle.
How Our Research Works
- Dates. Every section carries the date it was last researched.
- Sources. Where a section has sources recorded, we list them under the section.
- Costs. We show cost levels in words (not exact prices), because prices move and exact figures suggest more precision than we have.
- Safety. Our safety level reflects violent crime only. It does not cover petty theft, scams, politics or natural hazards. Read the full safety section before you decide.
- Visa and legal. Visa rules change often. Always confirm on the official government website before you book or travel.
- Starting point, not the final word. Our research can contain mistakes, and nothing here is legal, visa, medical or financial advice.
How We Make Money
Nomadr doesn't show display ads as of October 2026. Some links, such as booking and co-living links, are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you use them. This never affects our ratings, rankings or what we recommend.

How Often We Update
Each section shows the date it was last researched. We refresh our research manually, roughly every six months or as needed. We correct reported errors as they come in.
