Updated July 2026
Basseterre has very limited formal coworking infrastructure — no drop-in coworking space with published day-pass/membership pricing was found operating in the city center; the two venues below are the closest matches (an office-rental complex and a hotel lobby explicitly branded as a co-working space). No named Soho House-style membership clubs or coliving-hybrid coworking spaces were found operating in Basseterre. The city's remote-work infrastructure consists of conventional office-rental businesses and small coworking listings, not membership-club or coliving-hybrid formats.

Good to know
Good to Know
- There is no dedicated, membership-based coworking space with transparent day-pass or monthly pricing currently operating in Basseterre itself — nomads mostly rely on hotel lobbies/cafes or working from short-term rental accommodation.
- Café Calypso at the St. Kitts Marriott is the most notable 'hotel-coworking' option, but it works more like a cafe with good WiFi than a formal coworking membership — expect to just pay for what you eat/drink.
- The Sands Complex in central Basseterre is worth contacting directly if you need a private leased office for a longer stay, but it isn't set up for single-day drop-in use.
- The East Caribbean dollar (XCD) is pegged at a fixed rate of 2.70 XCD to 1 USD, so USD conversions here are stable rather than fluctuating with daily exchange markets.
- Basseterre does not currently have a Soho House-style private members' club or a dedicated coliving-with-coworking hybrid property that we could verify — this is a small, low-volume nomad market compared to hubs like Lisbon or Bali.
- What does exist locally is more conventional: shared/serviced office space (e.g. The Sands Complex on Wigley Street) and apartment/condo complexes aimed at longer-stay visitors, but these don't combine work, social, and lifestyle amenities in the membership-club or coliving sense.
- If a coliving-style stay is a priority, most nomads currently piece together a furnished villa or apartment rental plus a separate coworking desk or café rather than finding an all-in-one hybrid space in Basseterre.
