• Bus travel from Helsinki is the cheapest option but takes 14+ hours; most direct services run only in winter season (late November to late March).
• No direct train reaches Levi; all rail journeys require a bus connection from either Kolari (80 km, ~75 min) or Rovaniemi (170 km, ~2.5 hours).
• Taxi from Kittilä to Levi costs approximately €30-€40; fares at Rovaniemi are significantly higher (~€350-€450 for 4 passengers).
