Good to Know

• Kavos's nightlife is heavily seasonal — most bars and clubs operate only from roughly June to September/October, so venue lists and opening hours should be reconfirmed close to your travel dates.
• The Kavos strip is compact (about 2km) and walkable, so a taxi is rarely needed to move between venues, but hotels described as 'a little further out' can mean a longer walk back late at night.
• This is overwhelmingly a young, UK-package-holiday and stag/hen party scene rather than a scene with a strong mixed-age or upscale-cocktail-bar alternative — travelers wanting a quieter or more adult scene are better served by Corfu Town.
• Menu prices and what's actually charged can differ, and cash-only demands without a receipt have been reported by visitors at some strip venues — check prices before ordering and ask for a receipt.
• Kavos' 'festival' scene is dominated by themed party weeks and promoter package events rather than large standalone ticketed festivals with fixed lineups and attendance figures — expect a summer-long (June–September) run of boat parties, foam/paint parties, and DJ takeovers more than a single big annual event.
• Break Away is the most established named event, a week-long drum & bass holiday that has run in June in recent years, but exact dates shift annually so check the current year's listing before booking travel around it.
• You must be 18 or over to enter nightclubs in Kavos, in line with the rest of Greece.
