Good to Know
- Castries is an urban hub with the best connectivity on the island; both fiber and 4G/LTE are widely available and reliable for remote work.
- Fixed broadband can be bundled with mobile service; compare Digicel+ fiber bundles with Flow's packages for cost savings.
- Public Wi-Fi hotspots exist in central locations (Constitution Park, Derek Walcott Square, La Place Carenage Mall), useful as backup or when away from home.
- Both Digicel and Flow offer prepaid mobile plans with daily, weekly, and monthly options—choose based on data needs and budget rather than upfront SIM cost.
- Flow SIM cards are free but usually require a plan purchase on the spot; Digicel SIM cards cost XCD 15 (~USD 5.56) but offer no hidden requirement.
- East Caribbean dollar (XCD) is fixed to USD at 2.70 XCD per USD, so pricing is stable and predictable.
